Pastor Bill Yonker serves as the Senior Pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Dundee, Illinois, a large suburban congregation with a large school. He travels around the country between 15-20 weekends a year speaking at Christian conferences, retreats, high schools, middle schools and college campuses. He also spends three or four weekends during the summer speaking at different Christian camps and resorts. Recently, he was named one of the 150 most influential alumni of Valparaiso University in the last 150 years.
Before serving in suburban Illinois, Rev. Yonker served as Pastor in several inner city ministries: Berea Lutheran Church in Detroit, Michigan and Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Chicago, Illinois.
Pastor Yonker is an avid coffee drinker, lover of stories and storytelling and thinks 60’s bubblegum music is the pinnacle of rock and roll music. He is married to his college sweetheart, Joanne, and is father to Becca (married to Tyler), Abby (Graduated last May from Texas Christian Univ.) and Josh (Sophomore at Valparaiso Univ.).
Swen & Dean
Two brothers. Singing isn’t why we are here, God is and you are. Music is one of the ways to put the two together. We are in it for the experience. On and off the stage we love to hang with people. Our style is…Swen and Dean style. Our hope is…that you know that you are valuable and loved. Our other loves are…coffee and family times. Let’s have a great weekend together.
