When he’s home, Lucas enjoys playing video games and disc golf. He is an avid Magic: The Gathering collector and a connoisseur of Taco Bell and Little Caesar’s pizza, which according to him, are the only two food groups. Lucas lives in Appleton with his wife, Becca, and their two cats, Rocket and Kitty.
Amanda Clark – Quake Event Director

Whether helping to manage Christian non-profits or leading youth group, her life’s focus is to help youth encounter the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Jennifer Miller – Quake Event Director
Jennifer Miller has been involved with youth ministry in a variety of ways since 1989, from attending youth events, serving on Event Planning Crews for Quake, traveling with the biking ministry, Spoke Folk, to leading her church’s youth group, but it was while traveling as a member of Captive Free, a music ministry team sponsored by Youth Encounter, that she truly discovered her passion for ministry. In 1997, she received a Call to serve as an Event Director at Youth Encounter, where she remained for nineteen years until its closing, planning and managing weekend youth events. Since 2016, she has been serving in this same role as a member of the staff at Life Promotions. Jennifer works remotely from her home near Fredericksburg, VA, where she lives with her husband, Todd, their two children, Sean and Liam, and their dog, Arrow. She enjoys traveling, watching movies, spending time in the sun, scrapbooking, all things Disney, and, most of all, spending time with her family!
Katie Sturm – Marketing Assistant
Katie Sturm is the newest member of the Quake team, having joined in 2021. A creative at heart, Katie loves to crochet, paint, sew, and hike in her spare time. Lem Fillyaw – Promotional Marketing Specialist & Community Manager
Lem Fillyaw, better know by his online Gamertag, “BadGamerElite”, has been a staple of Quake Events ever since he joined the team in February 2018. If you’ve been to one of our events, chances are you’ve seen Lem host celebrations and games, lead the God, Games & Geekery workshop, and act as the unofficial hype man for Quake. He is a quintessential geek and loves to talk nerdy. When he’s not at Quake, he’s probably streaming video games on his Twitch channel, playing Fortnite with friends, or strumming away at the ukelele. Ask him to show you his secret musical talent.
Micah Garnett – Box Office Manager
Micah Garnett is a self-proclaimed nerd and gamer from Neenah, WI. He joined the Quake team in 2019 and has been helping to plan and pack for events ever since. He is the father to six amazing sugar gliders (Honey, Cinnamon, Toffee, Cocoa, Maverick, and Storm – ask him to show you a picture of them sometime!). In his free time he enjoys watching the Indianapolis Colts disappoint him, as well as playing Overwatch and spending time with his fiancé, Bethany. You’ll probably catch Micah on the road at our Wichita and Wisconsin Dells events working the merch table or overseeing the Food Packaging Service Project. If you see him, be sure to say hi!
