Enough for the Season

Posted on Dec 1, 2024

December is here—a season of twinkling lights, festive songs, and the bustle of preparations. Amid the cheer, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. There’s always one more gift to buy, one more party to attend, one more decoration to hang. But what if we paused to consider that, in Christ, we already have enough?

At Quake, we’re gearing up for 2025 with a theme that reminds us of the ultimate truth: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16). This verse is more than a familiar Christmas story—it’s the cornerstone of our faith.

In Jesus, we have enough. Enough grace to cover our sins. Enough hope to face the challenges of today. Enough love to pour into the lives of others. This truth is especially important to share with the next generation.

When we gather for Quake 2025, we’ll explore how God’s promise of “enough” meets us right where we are. From the noise of Friday night’s madness to the assurance of Jesus’ victory on Saturday, and the calling to share His goodness on Sunday, each session will point us to the sufficiency of Christ.

As you prepare for Christmas, consider inviting the students in your life to experience the life-changing message of God’s “enough.” Whether you’re a youth leader, a parent, or a mentor, Quake offers a chance to step away from life’s pressures and remind students of the peace, purpose, and fulfillment found in Him.
